Thank you for your insight! I struggle trying to figure out what is true and what is just fear mongering...I feel like, or have been led to believe, that deBlasio was not so good for the city...combined with the damage done from Covid, it's been having a struggle to recover although it feels like things are feeling incrementally better. Perhaps I'm listening to the wrong people or have the wrong biases, but I'm extremely paranoid of what a someone like Mamdani would do to the city. Public safety is just now starting to finally improve (it seems) and he talks very little about that. And then all the socialist ideas...of course they sound wonderful, but what happens when the tax base leaves? Will the city still thrive under someone like this?
> a budget larger than 48 states
wow, TIL!
Yup! NYC’s government is a big deal, and making sure it’s led by the right people matters a lot.
Cuomo and Mamdani are polling in first and second, respectively, with a large gap to third. Could you elaborate on your decision to leave #5 blank?
